City Attorney

An elected city attorney in Arkansas acts as the city's legal advisor, prosecuting ordinance and misdemeanor violations, and providing legal representation in civil cases. They draft and review legal documents like ordinances and contracts, advise city officials and departments, and represent the city in court and before administrative agencies. The office also works to protect public health, safety, and welfare through their legal services. The city attorney is an elected position in the city of Wynne and serves a four year term.
